Katherine Moore offers readers a book teeming with insights, experiences and lessons in life in her debut book titled A Gift From The Journey. In this volume, she shares her general musings about life for over 30 years. She opens the eyes and minds of readers with topics ranging from from the mundane to the tragic, child and substance abuse, as well as change and transition and how it can be isolating.
Moore has received many gifts in her life. Working as a social worker, there have been many individuals who have touched her spirit and, in that moment, her life was changed. These bridge-builders that she has known are responsible for much of her success. Without them, she would have been blind when a new path opened.
Many feel that that they are alone in their experiences. But the author's experience taught her that there is always someone else that has had a similar experience. The sense of isolation is lifted when one realizes that he or she is not the only one on any given path. She further believes that positive or negative events in life are the greatest teachers. It is in the transcending of these moments that the greatest gift of wisdom becomes a blessing.
The author hopes that readers can find one aspect of her musings helpful in their lives. From a blog to a published book, A Gift From The Journey is a revealing volume that opens the doors of truth to life.
