Today's society is challenged by conflicts, turmoil, and financial hardships that almost everyone is not safe from it. Aiming to inspire and to lessen some of the reader's burden, author Kat Van Eyze shares hope and gives inner peace through her book "Doors."

The second book after "Windows" in her series of three, this book follows the story of a woman and her son who were challenged by fate. "Doors" depicts Jeffrey's growth from being a child and becoming a man encouraged and loved by his mother despite being abandoned by his father. Many doors are closed to Jeffrey and his mother, but they search for that one open door together, becoming stronger with each step they take.

Aside from a very relatable story of family and survival, readers will be drawn to a realistic depiction of domestic violence and loss of one's home, all given life by this tale's main characters. With their love and faith with each other, mother and son's story, will touch readers hearts as they realize that love and family are two things enough to overcome trials and even move mountains.

Stressing the point that story is based on factual events and real people; Eyze wants not only to tell a heart-warming and engaging tale but also to inspire and to touch hearts. Being a brain aneurysm survivor herself, she wants to reach out to a lot of readers who had experienced many obstacles in life, and share as much hope she can through the pages of "Doors."
