K.J. Stinnet offers action-fantasy readers a riveting tale that highlights courage, determination, and friendship in his debut book trilogy "The Legends of Lohrendore" trilogy. In his first edition of the trilogy, titled, "The Boy Who Would Be King," Stinnet brings to life the mystical realm of Lohrendore and the story of an average adolescent who is given the opportunity to combat his greatest fears and regain his father's throne. This epic clash of good and evil is the epitome of heroism in the face of fear, hope in the face of dire desperation and the ultimate fight against tyranny and oppression.

In this first volume, a young peasant boy is called back to his home world to defend his people against Kalith, an incredible evil who threatens to lay waste to all who stand for freedom and life. This callous demon of the ancient world now searches for the one person capable of subverting his malevolent campaign: the heir to the throne of Dhenor.

The lowly apprentice Rishan must now decide whether or not he has the courage to combat the threat facing this foreign land and retain his destined throne. Gifted with a magical force and altruistic companions, the young squire now has the chance to combat fears beyond his greatest imagining, visit unearthly and wondrous places, safeguard his destiny as rightful king, and restore peace to the land of Lohrendore.

Action-packed and loaded with powerful imagery, "The Legends of Lohrendore" trilogy is a testimony of Stinnet's wide-ranging mind's eye and his knack to weave them into a tale of wonder and amazement perfect for all ages. With its mind-expanding adventures and shocking twists and turns, this trilogy is a must-read for fantasy and historical fiction fans everywhere.
