Author KJ Birkin has always been an avid reader, and a lover of short story writing for most of her life. She had the idea of writing a mystery thriller story in her mind for years and now, she finally publishes her first novel, "Crimes of Precision" (published by Xlibris AU) which is about a detective named Lewis Crane, who has not had the easiest childhood after losing his mother and three brothers in a car accident, which was never solved.
Growing up in Brooklyn N.Y. did not come easy for 14 year old basketball athlete Lewis Crane. His life journey entwines his past, and unfolds into his future, as a Brooklyn Police Department Forensic Detective. Lewis is once again confronted by his horrific past as it unexpectedly returns to haunt him yet again.
"I believe my story is worth the read, especially if you enjoy this type of novel," Birkin said. "Due to the amount of mental illnesses present in today's society, I think that this story portrays a strong element of mental illness, and it attempts to portray the struggles some people have."
"Crimes of Precision" has many exciting twists and turns, as readers follow Lewis Crane's character on a murderous investigation. This book has been something author KJ Birkin have felt very passionate about for many years now, and she thinks that it is a story somewhat untold by anyone else.
