June Palo's latest book is the marriage of poetry and art, combining themes of self love, self empowerment and self worth for women. The poems are inspirational and encourage believing in yourself, being proud of who you are and that every woman should feel beautiful.

Each poem becomes a work of art using words to create an image with a message to empower women and to make a difference in their lives.

June Palo is a breast cancer survivor who feels women can grow from all experiences in life. With cancer in her rearview mirror, the retired city music school teacher continues to expand and explore her artistic side. She plays guitar something she had done since 1962 and currently plays and sings for Déjà Vu - a '50s and '60s cover band.
