ROCKLEDGE, Fla.
Helen Johnston Majercik lived up to the age of 98 and was full of positivity and inspiration. She had worlds of stories to tell and she loved sharing these with her friends. One of these friends is Joyce Morlin and in the recently released memoir, "Helen" (published by Xlibris), Morlin shares lessons and inspiration from Helen's life.
Helen shared her life story with Morlin during their time as neighbors and friends. In her self-titled memoir, readers will see how Helen's life was eventful and through it all, she maintained unwavering positivity and a vibrant outlook. Some of the book's highlights include her 'career' as a bridesmaid, her marriage at the age of 42, the birth of her daughter at 44 and how she overcame seemingly insurmountable odds. This memoir also features stories and anecdotes contributed by more than a dozen of Helen's friends. The combined stories give the reader the secrets to a long and happy life.
Written in honor of an inspiring and exceptional woman, "Helen" is a story of family, a life well-lived and, above all, of the indomitable human spirit.
