With her new book, "The Cube of Space Workbook" (published by Trafford Publishing), author Joy Nur enlightens readers to the Cube, a symbol that illuminates the esoteric meaning of the Hebrew alphabet and the major arcana of the Tarot.
As Nur worked with this symbol, she found correspondences with directional attributions in a variety of traditions. This workbook is designed to deepen the student's understanding of the Tarot Keys and discover practical ways to apply the insights revealed by a study of the structure of the Cube of Space. As the cube is a symbol of three-dimensional reality and Tarot images are archetypal symbols for human states of consciousness, study of this symbol also sheds light on the human condition and the workings of the mind.
"The Cube of Space can illuminate the nature of the limitations that cause our problems and open the student up to new creative ways of looking at life," Nur states. "By revealing the unity between inner and out creative processes, the laws of cause and effect can be used more effectively to understand and solve modern problems."
While this workbook is designed to offer readers the opportunity to make their own discoveries, Nur's brief commentary on each view of the Cube of Space offers seed ideas for contemplation that come from her own meditative efforts.
"The Cube of Space Workbook" will be featured at the 2013 Book Expo America in New York and the 2013 Frankfurt Book Fair in Frankfurt, Germany.
