In her new book "Walking with Spirit" (published by iUniverse) author Joy Brisbane offers readers a new path to finding happiness from within, rather than from without.

"My book is a guide to help the reader gain self-love and self-acceptance," Brisbane says. "It is an aid for people seeking to gain a deeper meaning in life and to find their inner spiritual path."

An excerpt from "Walking with Spirit":

"Real happiness is a happiness that is found within us that is a fountain of joy always present, always waiting for us to discover it; a happiness that comes from learning to accept and love self. A happiness that comes from knowing that we were born perfect and that, in our innermost being, our soul self, we still are perfect. When we find our divinity to balance our humanity, then we find that fountain of joy!"

"This is not a textbook," Brisbane points out. "I have deliberately kept it small and concise so it is easy for the reader to absorb the powerful messages it contains."
