Veteran actors Joseph Kolinski ("FOLLIES," "LES MISERABLES") and Julia Motyka ("OBAMA44," "WHAT WE'RE UP AGAINST") will answer questions from audience and discuss getting started in the business as an actor.

The actors, featured in the book "Now You Tell Me! 12 Actors Give the Best Advice They Never Got," will share humorous anecdotes from their own early years in the city to serve as a launching point for frank discussions of how to pick head shot photographers, how best to approach agents, what kind of money jobs are best, how to cope with the "I'll Never Work Again" blues, and what to do at the 7 month mark (or the 7 year mark) when you're ready to high-tail it home. Joined by primary co-author SheriDan Scott, Joe and Julia will be available for Q&A with audience members and signing copies of the book. Enjoy an evening of insightful discussion, wine and cheese, mingle with other actors and join the conversation!

The Talkback is a free event, but space is limited so, guarantee your spot ahead of time and pick up a copy of the book "Now You Tell Me! 12 Actors Give the Best Advice They Never Got" at the Drama Book Shop.

"Now You Tell Me! 12 Actors Give the Best Advice They Never Got" reads like a conversation with honest, insightful and inspirational chapters from twelve successful working actors including  Charles Busch, Michael McKean, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Alexandra Neil, Michael O'Neill, David Oyelowo, Pauley Perrette, Eden Sher, Brenda Strong, Sam Waterston, director Kent Paul and the last major interview with the legendary Lynn Redgrave.

"Now You Tell Me! 12 Actors Give the Best Advice They Never Got" is coauthored by bestselling author SheriDan Scott and one of L.A.' stop celebrity journalists, Chris Willman. The book is supported by a burgeoning online Actors' Community, offering blogs, discussion forums and exciting content written for actors by actors. Members of the Now You Tell Me! Actors' Community also have access to an actor mentor and other useful resources.
