Joseph De Prest immigrated to Canada when he was 17. For many years, he traveled from east to west and worked at a variety of jobs from farmhand to lumberjack to sailor, of which he will write about in the sequel to "Boys Don't Cry, An Immigrant story" in the spring of 2013.
