In her new novel, "Restoring the Castle: Restoring Faith Romances, Book One" (published by WestBow Press), author Joni M. Hill offers readers a contemporary Christian romance about restored faith in God.

As children, Ian MacLeod and Annie Montgomery shared a special bond. As adults, they still feel great affection for one another and Annie, a historical preservation architect, hopes to one day repair and restore Kilmegan Castle, the ancient home on the Isle of Skye in Scotland that Ian's father purchased.

Annie begins to see Ian differently, harboring secret feelings for him and suffering unrequited love. She relies on her prayer and faith in God to overcome her longings. When Ian's wife is killed in a car accident, grief and guilt cause him to stop praying. He stops going to church, questions God's very existence and, like Kilmegan Castle, needs some major restoration.

An excerpt from "Restoring the Castle":

"Who knew that his Annie had a talent for the restoration of broken men as well as broken architecture?"
