A new, envelope pushing erotic novel extends the bounds of the giving social mores of the 21st century. "The Exhibitionist" (published by iUniverse) penned by Jon L. Pope is loosely based on his college days, and explores the state of mind of the woman-exhibitionist, so often a mystery to the non-exhibitionist mind.

"Men find women a mystery and have so little understanding of women exhibitionists and how to relate to them," Pope writes. "My book provides a view into the behavior of a young exhibitionist who does it as a lark and then transitions to perform professionally."

Alex van Winkle is a beautiful university freshman with long blond hair and sky blue eyes. Her first day on her own on campus, she meets her Prince Charming, Bradley.

While at college, Alex realizes the delight she gets in being an exhibitionist and becomes a live model for the art school. After college, she joins the porn industry and becomes a leading adult film actress. Her success in adult films leads to a mainstream movie role, and that results in an Oscar nomination. Through it all, Alex's love for Bradley never fades, but he doesn't know how to handle her exhibitionist behavior and she has to learn to move on.

"My book is based on actual events that are as unusual and unique as the book itself," Pope explains. "I hope readers see what an intriguing work this is."
