The author John Wright has always felt frustrated by the greed of those with more power and money than they can use and the lack of personnel skills of business owners. Which is why he has endeavored to create "The First Hundred Years" (published by Xlibris AU) a book that shows his own perceptions and ideas on the future written in an easy to read novel.

"The First Hundred Years" is an adventure story of the evolution of the human race. Started by love and a change of thinking and looking at the greater good instead of concentrating on self. Recognizing coincidence or synchronicity as a conduit between humans that has a relevance to living.

It is a dynamic interlude of love, intrigue and suspense from modern day to a futuristic world. Embracing and enhancing the ideals of the evolution of the human race and what it could be.

About the Author
From an early age John Wright has always been interested in what makes things work and once he had mastered his Meccano set he was off. Always reading a variety of books, including engineering and Sci-Fi he eventually became a marine engineer. During that time he fell in love with New Zealand and worked his passage out there to work in shipping. Unfortunately he could not come to terms with the cold having reset his thermostat to over forty degrees in engine rooms and desired a warmer clime. He moved to Australia and worked on the coast until he eventually fell in love and married. Coming ashore he worked for many years with IBM and developed a taste for computers and electronics. Since then he has been an engineer on tourist boats and an island resort. He currently resides near the water in Hervey Bay and he and his wife go cruising as often as possible. Sitting on deck watching the water go past provides time and inspiration to write.
