Living the way he was taught and trying to gain success and wealth, John Schreiner found that he was unhappy and unfulfilled despite "having it all." In "Slowly, I Start To See: The Person I Want To Be" (published by Balboa Press), he shares how he let go of his old belief system and reinvented himself, concentrating on what made him happy versus what made him wealthy.

Wanting to "reach out to others who might be going through the same 'unhappiness cycle' as I did," Schreiner assembled his debut book to help them through his own experiences and realizations.

A story of reinventing oneself, "Slowly, I Start To See" gives readers insight into how they too can change their lives for the better. By letting go of preconceived notions and searching for their heart's desire, they can discover what they were meant to do with their lives.

An excerpt from "Slowly, I Start To See":
It has been a long journey but we've made it together, holding each other, loving each other and comforting each other through the pain and the joy. We now follow our hearts rather than let our minds lead us. We are joyous in our knowledge that God looks over us and whatever we need he will provide. We are at peace and we wish all of you the same love, peace and joy.
