In his new book, "The Future of Mankind: As Related to Food Chemistry" (published by iUniverse), author John Kayvanfar turns his expert lens toward the topic of food and health, offering his advice as a physician to help people understand how - as well as why - to eat healthy.
"The Future of Mankind" is a response to what Kayvanfar sees as the growing issue of the production and consumption of manmade food. According to him, genetically modified (GMO) food has a profound effect on people today, as well as generations to come. In the book, he points out how GMO foods are bringing illnesses to people; essentially, people are producing food that robs them of their health.
Kayvanfar wants people to preserve their health for their entire life, and he says food is the key to staying healthy. He discusses many aspects of food, equipping people with the knowledge they need to understand what food means to their body. At the same time, he advises readers on how they must remain constantly aware of and dedicated to food health.
To Kayvanfar food and health are everything. "Our health is the most valuable commodity we all own," he says. "Once you lose health, no matter how wealthy you may me, you will not be able to enjoy your wealth."
