John Bonno has completed his new book "A Baseball Carol": A fantasy story of time-travel and betrayal set amidst the largest scandal in the history of baseball.

John is a practicing certified public accountant from Richardson, Texas. He has been married to the love of his life, Lenore, for 36 years. John has a 35-year-old daughter, Wendy. A Yorkie poo named Pugsley also keeps him company. John considers himself a very knowledgeable baseball fan and loves the Great American Game.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, John Bonno's fantastic fictional story is based on the events leading up to the Cincinnati Reds' World Series win in 1919.

A mild-mannered CPA just minding his own business is thrust back in time to 1919 to try and stop the infamous Black Sox scandal. Along the way, he runs into many famous and infamous historical figures. Not only must he stop the scandal but he also has a murderer on his tail trying to stop him. Can he stay one step ahead of the murderer and pull off his mission? It all unfolds in these pages.

Readers who wish to experience this action-packed work can purchase "A Baseball Carol" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
