General Robert E.Lee surrendered on April 6, 1865, in a small town called Appomattox. Soon after, America began a vast movement to the Western frontier. The Civil War was over, and the men were going home to start a new life or continue where they left off. However, they had no idea what awaited them, how they would be put in harm's way more times than they cared to count.

ARIZONA RANGERS, a compelling fictional novel written by author Joe C. Noriega tells the story of two men who were created to deal with the infestations of outlaws in the sparsely populated Territory of Arizona, especially along the Mexican border. First Lieutenant Joseph L. Gonzales and Sergeant Huckleberry join forces and venture out heading west. They join up with a wagon train toward Oregon, and upon reaching Kansas, they join the Santa Fe Trail wagon train. They both were banking on starting a new life in the new Arizona Territory but they will soon find out that starting over is not that easy.

Gonzales and Huckleberry will have to stop an Apache named Spotted Pony and his band of renegade warriors from starting a war with the people of Arizona to take back their land. They joined forces with Arizona U.S. Marshall McDonald, and together they will bring in Spotted Pony to be made accountable. They looked forward to capturing Spotted Pony and his renegade Apaches so they can leave the army and start their cattle ranch and farm in Arizona. Once and for all, will these Arizona Rangers be able to stop and capture Spotted Pony and his bunch of warriors from creating havoc? Can they finally start a new life in the Arizona Territory?

ARIZONA RANGERS is one enjoyable and highly entertaining read. It reminds readers of the men who are a most valuable and important part of the historical heritage of dedicated, unselfish, and honorable service to the state of Arizona and its people. Their history of pride, integrity and unequalled law enforcement service is truly reflected in this historical fiction.
