In "Sibling Rivalry" (published by AuthorHouse)-author Jim Jordan's new novel, readers are taken into a dysfunctional family that can only be saved by an outside source.

Readers find themselves navigating through the Turnbull family saga as the family unwittingly sprints headfirst towards doom. This doom comes in the form of many tragedies, including abduction, hatred and murder. When a stranger comes to visit, the family might finally find the redemption and peace it has secretly been hoping for.

With twists and turns abound, "Sibling Rivalry" will have even the most seasoned of readers guessing till the end.

An excerpt from "Sibling Rivalry":

"Margarette lifts her head up so she can see into her eyes, 'You know inside my bedroom I have a secret place where I keep secrets from nosey parkers like certain young ladies I know'. They smile at each other. Abigail goes to where her mother directs her. And brings back a tin box. 'Open it my darling'. Abigail opens the box and finds newspaper cuttings from almost thirty years back. 'You see that lady and that gentleman and the baby in the picture'. Abigail nods. 'It is you me and father yes I know.' Margarette shakes her head. 'The baby is you, with your real mum and dad and your name is not Abigail but is Cecelia.' Cecelia sits there in stunned silence, not knowing whether to laugh or cry. Cecelia walks to the window and absent mindedly in a voice Margarette can hear says, 'Thirty years of my life has been a lie'..."
