In Key West, a little girl visits her feline friend, a six-toed cat. While on their adventure, they explore the vibrant location and attend a wedding in this new children's picture book.
Inspired by the stories her mother would tell about her adventures in Key West, author Jenny Gulla created "Six-toed Cat Tale" (published by Trafford Publishing) after she had a child of her own and the pieces fell into place.
Featuring friendship, travel and a wedding, Gulla's tale takes Suzy Cat and young Flora on a Key West adventure that features other animal characters and some notable locations.
"I want children to get a sense of adventure," Gulla says, "and want to go visit the banyan tree or find out if there is a mansion that houses six-toed cats."
"Six-toed Cat Tale" has been selected for inclusion in the Gold Seal program, which recognizes excellence in writing and overall potential.
