About the Author
Jennifer Kennedy was born in Woodstock, Ontario and now resides in Brantford, Ontario with her two daughters. Living with mental illness since her early years, Kennedy uses creative outlets of photography and writing to portray the journey of her intimate struggles, and heightened sensory perceptions. Through sheer determination, constant self re-evaluation, supportive foundations, and consistent medications, she has triumphed over the multitude of barriers presented to her daily. She is also passionate about shedding light on the suffering that occurs with mental illness, especially in young children, actively seeking early intervention strategies to help families and raise awareness.
