Author Jennifer Davis realized that her life was worth more than just exhausting herself for a job. As she reminisces the first two decades of her life, she gets out of the box and fulfills what she wishes to do- to write a book. Davis pens a humorous look of her past in her first published autobiography "One Paper from Home" (published by Xlibris).
Set in the Pacific Northwest, from Bothell to Snohomish in Washington, this memoir shares Davis' perspective of her childhood and youth. It features her crazy family and how they fit together- like pieces from several different jigsaw puzzles that somehow form a complete image. "My family members are the symphony of my life," she says.
Davis expects readers to have a few good laughs and be inspired as they will learn about the author's formative years. The author also underscores that it is a matter of choice to look at life events as positive or negative.
"If one looks for and dwells on negative aspects of their history, negative is what they will remember. If one looks for positive aspects, positive is what they will remember."
