Author Jenna Lindsey pulls readers into a dark world of horror, punctuated only by her trademark humor, in her new fantasy novel, "The Dragon's Breath" (published by iUniverse).

"This is a thriller about confronting your fears, both imagined and real," Lindsey says. "It's also a reminder that something terrifying is lurking just outside the personal boundaries that give you that all-important illusion of safety."

Set in the present day, "The Dragon's Breath" follows the exploits of Isabelle, a princess drawn from her world to Earth, as she tries to escape a dragon. Using magic, Isabelle faces the challenge of a new life, constantly aware of the possibility that she may have been followed by the most dangerous of creatures.

When Isabelle meets Devon Riter she suspects he could be a knight in disguise. He may be able to help Isabelle fulfill her destiny - to kill the dragon.

Together, and with the help of one of Lindsey's finest supporting characters, Isabelle and Devon confront their fears and embark on a dragon hunt. But time is not on their side; the dragon is hunting them as well. Who will win?
