Love remains a phenomenon that is almost impossible to understand, let alone explain. Being the mystery that it is, many confuse love with other emotions, deeds, even objects. Love is groundlessly equated with kindness, compassion, pity, jealousy, distrust, violence, riches, assets, chattels and whatnot. The list can go on endlessly, but not one can concretely define it. Author J.B. Ralph helps readers understand this universal feeling by revealing how adults and kids define it in his newest publication titled, "Love is Everywhere: 365 Ways to Live a Life of Love."
Recently, there appeared on cyberspace undocumented definitions of love as provided by very young children. A group of professional people asked a group of four to eight year olds, "What does love mean?" The answers they gave seemed to be more concerned with real life than what many adults would have immediately imagined to be love.
The aforementioned inspired Ralph to write "Love is Everywhere: 365 Ways to Live a Life of Love." While the answers provided by kids could suffice, the author thought it challenging to add 300 or more workable definitions but, this time, he procured it from adults. In this book, the 21 definitions from the children are in Part I. Part II consists of 344 "adult" definitions, including those written by the author and with just a few contributed by his friends.
A trove of definitions of love for the heart, soul and senses, "Love is Everywhere: 365 Ways to Live a Life of Love" will delight readers as it expands their understanding and provides meanings of love from different perspectives.
