AL-KHARJ, Saudi Arabia - Dr. Jamil AbdulHadi has been an educator for many years, and throughout those years he has developed a familiarity with the teaching of English to Arabic speakers. He has been aware of the challenges involved in the teaching process; he has endeavored to write "Common Pronunciation Difficulties Observed among Native Arabic Speakers Learning to Speak English" (published by Xlibris AU) as a way to help Arabic speakers in learning the English tongue.
"Common Pronunciation Difficulties Observed among Native Arabic Speakers Learning to Speak English" is about the linguistic qualities involved in teaching the science of phonetics. Pronunciation is a concept in English language teaching that has been long overlooked and undertaught. Nevertheless, its importance is the difference between being understood and considered literate or being misunderstood and illiterate.
This highly ingenious book shows readers that there are lots of sounds in English that are not in the Arabic language which make it a great challenge for Arabic speakers learning English. This book was predominantly written to address those problematic areas of pronunciation for the native Arabic speaker learning English.
