MIAMI -
With 22 years experience working for the federal government in positions such as a Border Patrol Agent, Foreign Service Officer, and Special Agent, James Sitton has pretty much seen it all.
In his new book "A Jumble of Thoughts", Sitton uses essays to chronicle his opinions and observations on topics ranging from foreign policy to lighting a grill. He hopes readers will perceive the work as a witty, insightful and thought provoking nightstand or coffee table book.
"Rational thought, developing opinions and then being able to articulate and defend them while holding onto convictions is a gift," Sitton said. "I hope that readers will challenge my opinions and find insight and entertainment in my writing."
Topics covered in the book include, but are not limited to, immigration, civil rights, family recipes, popular culture and the art of persuasion
"A Jumble of Thoughts" the first of two planned books.
