About the Author
James R. Cooley was born in Santa Monica, California, on April 2, 1931. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He graduated from Claremont McKenna College in 1954. Following this, he studied at the Sorbonne in Paris. He was a photojournalist in Spain, Italy, France and North Africa. He filmed in the arctic for the United States Bureau of Land Management. He was a member of the Writers' Guild of America, Hollywood. He has done film and TV work in Spain and New York. He is presently a member of SAG/AFTRA in Hollywood and the Pasadena Society of Artists.
