Several crimes took place in a quiet community, and it is up to the town's Sherriff to solve the puzzle and give justice to the victims. Author James Dennis Beeson pens a stunning mystery novel about the intriguing lives of the people of Jacksonville and their escapades that certainly keep life a lot more interesting with his new publication, Kidnapping, Drugs, and Murders, Oh My! The city police have a lot in their hands as different cases are thrown their way involving kidnapping, drugs and murder.
In this book, the normal and simple lives of the residents of Jacksonville takes an exciting turn as several curious events unravel involving a bizarre kidnapping, the intricate case of drugs and crime and the murder with murky motives. The first case tells of a dying man who abducted the love of his life, a high school classmate who has a kind and compassionate heart. The lady happens to be the sheriff's wife. She was asked to be a companion of her kidnapper for six weeks, and what an experience it has been to be treated like a houseguest instead of a captive.
It also tells of the lives of Louie and Steve, two ex-convicts granted with a parole and were starting to live a new life outside of prison. The peace and quiet they are trying to gain is short-lived as Louie's past caught up to him fast and drags him into danger and risks once again. If all of that's not enough, then there's the murder of Mrs. Hunt, a doctor's wife who's found dead in the swimming pool. Lt. Jay Hutchinson of the city police sure does have a lot on his hands as he deals with the investigations for weeks and unfortunately failed to come up with positive results. Will he be able to solve and close all these cases?
Packed with suspense and intriguing mysteries to be solves, Kidnapping, Drugs, and Murders, Oh My! paints a vivid picture of the frequent if not bizarre scenes of a town where unusual cases stir up the people's lives and keep things a whole lot more interesting. Mystery novel fanatics will definitely find this book a real treat.
