"PTSD Raw and Real: A Reason for Hope and Motivation To Fight On": a compelling study of a fragmented and disjointed existence filled with holes, blockades, and landmines on the road to recovery.
"PTSD Raw and Real: A Reason for Hope and Motivation To Fight On" is the creation of published author, Jacqueline Pfadt, a consultant who has worked on financial reporting systems doing project management and information technology support services. She has a bachelor of science in mathematics and computer science from Ashland University in Ohio and a master's of business administration from Lake Erie College in Ohio. She is a member of the Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence (OAESV) Survivor's Advisory Counsel and is an active participant in the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center's Alumni Group.
Jacqueline states "I didn't understand what PTSD was, and I was not diagnosed with it until much later in my recovery work. I lived life feeling broken, bad, poisonous, and crazy. I dammed these feelings up into a corner within my soul so that I could survive and function within my life. However, my existence was built on an unsteady foundation of negative self-worth that could not withstand the difficult trials of life".
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Jacqueline Pfadt's new book is her raw journey toward recovery and the miracle of repairing her soul.
Jacqueline's life has been saturated with unseen obstacles that created emotional traps, blockades, and explosions at random intervals regardless of her surroundings. She existed for many years riddled with fear, anger, doubt, shame, self-loathing, despair, and loneliness. She tried to run, hide, escape, and disappear, but could never find a lasting way to avoid the pain lurking everywhere.
