NASHVILLE, Tenn., Nov. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ JT Olson, founder of Both Hands, will be releasing his debut novel, Both Hands: The Orphan, the Widow & Me on February 7, 2017.

Both Hands follows Olson's journey toward spiritual restoration by recounting significant moments in his life including his family of six's life-altering decision to adopt a little girl from China. Largely due to the influence of his children, Olson decided to forego business success and pursue achievements he found to be more meaningful. He left the executive search firm he founded and subsequently started Both Hands, a non-profit that helps families fundraise for their adoptions through serving widows in their communities.

As Olson recounts his experience of being orphaned when his parents were tragically killed in a car accident, readers are given a glimpse of the emotional toll early loss can have on young lives and how it can be turned around into something that benefits those most in need.

Using a one-of-a-kind approach, the Both Hands organization raises its funds through sponsored service projects for women who have lost their spouses. In the first eight years, Olson's organization has completed 650 projects across 42 states that have raised over $7.2 million for adoptions and orphan causes. Both Hands' projects have served 700+ widows with free improvements to their homes and brought close to 800 orphans into their "forever families."

A portion of proceeds from Olson's debut book sales will go to further the mission of Both Hands. To pre-order a copy of Both Hands, beginning November 15th, visit www.bothhandsbook.com.

JT Olson was orphaned as a child alongside his four siblings and went on to create Both Handsa faith-based non-profit serving orphans, widows and adoptive families.
