In "Jesus, the Bridge" (published by Xlibris), Melisa Calcote encourages readers to embark on a journey of strengthening their faith. This new book features the author's original writings and art work, all of which capture her love and devotion to the Almighty.

Calcote wrote this book to remind readers of their connection to Jesus Christ. If they enjoy poetry and short stories, this collection of writings leads them to different aspects of their spiritual walk and helps them see how much they have grown. When they are trying to overcome the struggles of their daily lives, "Jesus, the Bridge" shows them that there is hope for tomorrow. It also features Calcote's original art work.

An excerpt from the book reads:

"He is the Bridge in my life and yours that makes us whole and complete with our God. He is everything that we need. Through Jesus Christ, there is peace, love, joy, acceptance, understanding, loving kindness, perseverance, patience, and so much more. Through forgiveness of sins, He has given me this inner peace. It's a tranquil and quiet place where Love binds us together with our Lord God."

Enriching and transformative, "Jesus, the Bridge" is an invitation for readers to grow stronger in their faith. It will uplift the spirit, nourish the soul and comfort the heart.
