J.D. Wynne, a devoted writer and author, has completed her new book "Soldier On": a gripping and potent story that follows Molly McKinney's trials and tribulations as she makes friends for life, falls in love, and discovers how ordinary people can become extraordinary, for good and bad, when faced with extraordinary circumstances.

J.D. Wynne is a native of Illinois who currently resides in the Southern California area. A teacher by profession, her accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a tour of duty in Afghanistan with the US Army Reserves, and a family with two children. As a social person who values personal interactions, she discovered writing as a means to share her experiences and the experiences of those around her, with the rest of the world.

"Soldier On" is J.D. Wynne's debut novel and is a fictional story, loosely inspired by some of her own personal experiences.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, J.D. Wynne's inspiring tale provides an insight into the everyday lives of ordinary American women and men in a war zone.

The September 11th, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center changed the United States of America. Those changes affected American society on all levels, from the top echelon of government through to the everyday working American. Molly McKinney was one of those Americans. Having ambitions to become a doctor, Molly joined the Army Reserves to help pay for college, but she had to put those ambitions on hold when she was deployed to Bagram airbase in Afghanistan as a Military Police (MP) specialist, tasked to be a prison guard.

Readers who wish to experience this patriotic work can purchase "Soldier On" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
