ALAMEDA, Calif.

His experiences of losing track of time due to his battle with Parkinson's disease have prompted author Irundy Ramos to make his own solution out of the problem. His ingenious idea also became the title of his book, "The Chocolate Cake Clock..."(published by Xlibris).

This book is composed of four essay philosophies and two narratives: a narrative of the lost dimension of Al Di La and a narrative of the historic report. The narrative of the lost dimension of Al Di La is a surrealist fantastic fantasy or folly in a dimension where anything and everything may happen. The narrative of the historic report is Ramos' true autobiography, where he accurately narrates the happenings in his life in time and space since his arrival in California on September 19, 1999, up to the present.

"In this book, there is no room, space, or support to any kind of opinion, act, thought, words, gestures that promote treating against the human dignity," Ramos says. "In my book, there is no space for bad words, connivance, bargain or transaction with the evil, profane words, obscenity, corruption, violence, racism, sexism and anything that does not match with the teachings of my parents and my best teacher. It also does not displease God."

Ramos does not work anymore and rarely leave his home. Through his publication of "The Chocolate Cake Clock...," he hope to help readers understand how a certain clock work and lets them discover the things and the events that goes on when one loses track of time.
