ONTARIO, Canada - Ion Zaharescu marks his debut in the world of literature with "The One's Quest for Creator" (published by Xlibris). This speculative novel will send readers on a journey into the heart of the human condition, raising questions on destiny, purpose and the meaning of life.

"The One's Quest for Creator" is told from the perspective of the title character, a man the author simply calls "The One." The One engages on a thought-provoking dialog with his friend. This discourse brings to light some of the problems existing in today's world and The One subsequently provides solutions to these issues.

"I hope this book will help us find who we really are," Zaharescu says, "By doing so, we will realize that we are not just on a ball of dirt revolving around an insignificant star, we are on the lost Garden of Eden."

Mind-bending, insightful and provocative, "The One's Quest for Creator" is an investigative journey into some of the most searing questions of today.
