Ingrid Bengtsson was born in 1932. She started writing novels and short stories at an early age. She has worked as a pharmacist for many years, both in Sweden and abroad, but her passion has always been with art, literature and music. She paints, mainly oils and has had several very successful exhibitions. Ingrid has traveled extensively around the world, both with her family and on her own. She now lives in the south of Sweden.
The book, Molly is her first children's book and is also the first of her books to be translated into English.
