The global economy in this day and age has become a cut-throat affair that is in great need of a moral compass. And in the past decade, large companies have monopolized businesses all over the globe. In "Industrial Economics and Organisation", Prof. Wan Sulaiman Bin Wan Yusoff has written a truly illuminating read on economics seen through an Islamic standpoint.
"Industrial Economics and Organisation" was written to compare the differences between conventional theory of economics and Islamic economics and to see the differences, advantage and disadvantage that go with it. It shows readers that in economic activities there must be justice, fair game, morality, and that the main goal is to make people happy. It also urges readers to never resort to false advertisement or any falsehood.
This illuminating read shows that Islamic economics needs to replace the conventional theory of economics as an alternative approach in order to solve the problem of mankind in the world economy today. "Industrial Economics and Organisation" is a truly comprehensive book on economics seen through an Islamic perspective.
