Losing a loved one is never easy, but losing a mother and all the advice that goes with her is even harder.

In Genie Lee Perron's new book, Things I Wish my Mother Had Said... (or maybe she did), she creates a source of helpful guidance to daughters and many alike. Inspired by the advice spawn from her own mother from over the decades, Perron illustrates life lessons that every person needs to learn; from gratitude and self-love to holistic remedies and positive thinking, each chapter highlights encouraging ways to create a brighter, happier and more fulfilling way of life.

Decorated with the artwork inspired by her mother's battle with cancer, Things I Wish My Mother Had Said reveals the sentimental and loving relationship a mother and daughter can have.

"After my mother got sick, I felt my fairytale gone astray," says Perron. "I wanted to share all the important advice my mother told me."

This Reiki master teacher reveals her own tragedies of cancer, miscarriage, and divorce, while providing her combination of conventional medicine and holistic healing arts that helped her regain her health.

"I want the reader to know no matter what situation they find themselves in, they can turn their life around," says Perron. "With the simple answer of shifting their own thoughts and remembering the advice their mother gave, everyone can achieve their best life."
