Most of the letters in the collection are written in a way that tells the individual's story and experience with substance abuse and more importantly with the drug pusher. The stories are based on real life stories and therefore provide a very real experience to the reader. Written in first person the reader can feel the message each individual conveys within their letter and experience their pain, suffering and in certain cases their triumph.
The work is written to provoke thought and is polished off by a Mayor trying to reason with a drug pusher providing a very satirical flavor to the writing. The mayor's letter is followed and finished off by the postal officer that has been receiving these letters making one closing addition to the collection and one last satirical push at bringing to light the pain brought about by the drug pusher.
The letters highlight the lives and experiences of many; most notably a mother of a now dead heroin addict; a young girl raised by a drug pusher and a young man lured into becoming a drug pusher himself.
On a more gentle and humorous tone there is even a letter written by a user whilst under the influence of a hallucinogenic drug and a short compilation of excerpts from other letters praising the drug pusher for efficient and reliable service. Whilst these bits add depth and make the read a little softer they are when given a moment of deep thought somewhat more saddening than the rest of the work in its entirety.
An excerpt from the book is available on the author's website; and free copies are available for journalists and individuals interested in reviewing the work; they can be acquired by contacting the author directly using the details provided in this press release.
It is no great secret that illegal drug use is commonplace, starting at a very young age.

Furthermore each year approximately 1 in every 1851 persons dies from drug poisoning; (overdoses being the most prevalent in this category), considering the average lifespan of an American national is 78.6; the ratio works out that in a lifetime 1 in every 23 persons will die a drug related death.
The author of the work writes primarily for two reasons; to entertain and to positively influence the reader. The work is short however it is intended that in the future more will be added to provide a wider coverage of drug pusher related influence and affect on society. He welcomes the opportunity to discuss his work and is open to interviews.
He hopes to reach a large audience and bring about a positive change creating awareness to the pitfalls of drug pushers and substance abuse. Whilst acknowledging their sweet allure as it is the only real way to create any effective change.
