About the Author

Dr. Martin Odudukudu is an educator with twenty years of experience as an English Teacher and An Alternative High Equivalency and GED Program Coordinator. He is also a professional philosopher specializing in metaphysics, analytic philosophy and philosophy of religion. A researcher and writer, Dr. Odudukudu is also presently the CEO of Center for Development of Interest In Learning, CDOIL Inc.

Dr. Odudukudu studied Philosophy at the Graduate Center, CUNY and SUNY, Stony Brook, and Counselling in Education at Hofstra University. He has been studying, researching and writing about interest since 1987 when he first studied John Dewey's work on interest under Professor Gilbert Gelber at SUNY, STONY Brook. He was just starting out as a teacher at the time, and was pleased and fascinated that a non-classroom teacher could articulate student problems so well.

In addition to Interest and Learning, he has written Light of Consciousness, Object Logic and Relations and Thinking and Learning. Dr. Martin Odudukudu is married to Eugenia Odudukudu; they reside in Long Island New York. They have three children; a son, Osagie Odudukudu and two daughters, Princilla Odudukudu and Cassandra Odudukudu.
