E. June Roper is called June by friends and family, lives in Charleston, S.C., with husband, Raymond. She is a retired secondary school administrator and continues her work as tutor and counselor to many students and adults. She is a member of First Baptist Church of James Island and works faithfully with several ministries in the church. The couple has four adult children and several adorable grandchildren.
