"I Am My Father's Keeper: The 10 Steps to Caring for the Elderly" by Dr. Patricia Hernandez Arnazzi is a short 86-page book written from the unique perspective of a professional health care provider as well as a primary caregiver.

This guidebook is designed to empower caregivers as it walks you through the important layers of that role. Written with warmth and thoughtfulness, it is a most compelling story of hardship and ultimate triumph. The book offers an intimate portrait of a wonderful father and loving daughter's relationship, giving solid counsel throughout. Its personal anecdotes and hard-learned lessons provide valuable resources for caring for a loved one.

According to Kirkus Reviews, "Arnazzi, a doctor who has worked in gerontology and is an advocate for alternative methods of care, writes from the point of view of both a medical professional and a caregiver, which adds a unique dimension to the work ... An engaging Alzheimer's disease guidebook that may provide solace to patients and their loved ones."

ForeWord Reviews adds: "Taking on caregiving responsibilities for a parent with Alzheimer's disease can be exhausting both physically and emotionally, but it can also make a person stronger, so believes Patricia Hernandez Arnazzi, author of I Am My Father's Keeper ... Her anecdotes will resonate with anyone who's been a caregiver, her advice will be invaluable to anyone who provides care for the elderly ... Arnazzi delivers a much-needed guide to navigating painful situations. Her optimism is uplifting."
