Hudson Stewart Releases FARIA BEACH

Streetdogz Media is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Faria Beach, a new novel from best selling author Hudson Stewart. The psychological, crime and paranormal thriller is the first in a series by the author and his third published title. It is also the first time the novelist has written a book entirely on location in Los Angeles.

However the interesting element is that this book is the first of the Stewart's books to be completely released in ebook form only and more importantly, completely outside the traditional publishing distribution channels.

"This time we have completely bypassed the old style publishing stream which we feel is too costly to the authors and brings little value unless you are part of the select 'in' crowd," said Trevor Law from Streetdogz Media. "We are not a publisher and don't receive funding from our artists but instead seek to support the artist in the development and promotion of their work. The book will be exclusively distributed in ebook form on iTunes and Amazon on November 2, 2013 and will not be distributed in print form anywhere. As well, the entire established publishing world will be completely bypassed including literary agents and publicists in favor of social networking.

Another important element has been crowdsource funding on GoFundMe that has allowed the author to offer upgraded ebook packages in exchange for financial support. "We see this as an important element for any first time author to help them promote their own books," added Law. "GoFundMe is by far the most supportive crowdsource site for authors and artists far and above any other site including those that have editorial boards to stop young authors from releasing just like the old publishing system. This is the new world of publishing and we hope we can't create a beachhead for young authors to follow so that they can avoid being ignored by mainstream publishers or having to pay thousand of dollars to so-called literary agents that provide almost no value."

Faria Beach is a story of paranormal activity and murder in a secluded beachside community as the primary characters Sarah and her husband Mitch fight to keep their marriage from disintegrating all while a killer stalks the community.
