Although it had gradually improved over the course of the past year, the unemployment rate for December 2012 was unchanged, at 7.8 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Millions of people continue to look for work, and author Ronald D. Henderson, RN presents a helpful resource for job-seekers with the publication of his new guide "How To Cope With Unemployment, Find A Job In Any Economy, And Save Money" (published by AuthorHouse).

Ronald, who has been working since he was 8 years old in a variety of different professions, experienced 13 months of unemployment, an experience that taught him lessons he shares in "How To Cope With Unemployment, Find A Job In Any Economy, And Save Money." He talks openly about the devastating effects of unemployment on self-worth and discusses some coping strategies that enable the unemployed to maintain stability while looking for work.

Job-seeking can be a daunting process, and Ronald outlines several different approaches to seeking and obtaining employment for jobs in the public and private sector. He also shows readers how to save money on household expenses, energy costs, pharmaceutical expenses and cell phone bills.

"Your goal of employment is possible when you have a positive mental attitude and you take the action steps necessary to achieve it," Ronald writes. "My book offers insights, and tools, to help anyone who is willing to take action steps to obtain employment."
