Royce works for King Louis XIII and is assigned to investigate Carina and her friend Teague for suspicious dealings against the crown. They ride a Great Dane dog throughout the city of Rochelle France, while taking citizens to safety after King Louis sieges the city and starves the citizens. However, Royce has plans of his own. One glance at Carina and he falls madly in love with her. One look at Royce and she knows he wants to steal her most prized possession, her virginity. Does he succeed?

Kathryn Most is the author of short stories, magazine articles and poems. “Love Siege” is her first attempt at writing a full-length novel. When she is not writing or researching history and her ancestry, she knits, crochets, designs and builds costumes for local children’s theater. She is also an avid embroiderer and designs projects for many different art projects.
