AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - Hedley G. Riley's "Abby Raggi Takes On Bully Smiley" (published by Xlibris UK) is a vibrantly illustrated picture book that will captivate the minds and imaginations of young readers as it takes them to a mysterious Caribbean island, Funville being its only small town. On this realm, searched for by many explorers, an incredible adventure will play out and only a young girl and her doll can save the hidden island paradise.

The island is a peaceful place and the folks there live an exemplary life, happily in their idyllic and isolated Caribbean home. Their mayor, Your Honor Mr. Talkmuch, keeps everything running smoothly. The Raggi family is popular in the island, a pleasant household led by Tom and his wife Kandy, along with their kids, Abby and Michael.

This tranquil existence is disrupted on January 2, 2013, at around 2:00 AM, in the middle of the night, when a great commotion shook everything. Abby and her inseparable rag doll JC were awakened by a hard yet muffled underground pounding seemingly originating from beneath her bed, probably caused by a terrible monster. The pounding becomes more and more violent, the island's calamity-siren is activated and Mayor Talkmuch gathers the island folks to the village square, hoping to find out the source of the earthquakes.

Readers will see if Funville will survive the strange and dangerous earthquakes - and what will happen when "Abby Raggi Takes on Bully Smiley" together with her rag doll.
