Harvey Hoff Shares True Story of How He Was 'Salvaged by Love'

After the death of his wife of 38 years due to ovarian cancer, Harvey Hoff embarked on a path towards increasing isolation. By chance, he met a woman whose unconditional love uplifted him from his downward spiral. Following their marriage, and during conversations with friends and acquaintances, they were frequently encouraged to write his story as an inspiration to others who may have experienced a similar loss. The book shares a poignant and moving memoir of a widower's journey through the lonely, dark days of grief - enduring the loss of his beloved wife, and moving forward from the guilt and fear often associated with such loss. He then enters life filled with a new love while relishing past memories.
