General of the Confederate Army Robert E. Lee once said, "Get correct views of life, and learn to see the world in its true light. It will enable you to live pleasantly, to do good, and, when summoned away, to leave without regret." Author Harvey Cappel might have the same thoughts when he decided to write his book True Story, I Swear-Maybe.

Cappel is passionate about writing, and it makes him happy when his works can entertain, inform or educate readers. For many years, he has been writing articles and short stories for various newsletters, newspapers, and even national magazines; some of the write-ups are paid but most of them are for free. He has this different view of the world than the average person and he is certainly not afraid of sharing it. For a long time, he dreamed of writing a book but it never materialized because it seems that everything that he wants to say is out of date.

Finally mustering courage and finding inspiration from the various epiphanies of life, his dream to publish a book has come to light. Incorporating fun philosophy, and basic life lessons that do not go out of date in his work, readers will see through his life experiences, listen or maybe even agree with his crazy ideas, and laugh at his antics and humorous approach of life. This book is a collection of family tales, a few reprints of previously published newspaper articles, a lively outlook in life, and a discussion of a political issue or two.

Readers will discover certain similarities with their own experiences as author revealed his life through his work, True Story, I Swear-Maybe. This is a book that will mirror life's revelations, man's daily struggles and antics that gives spice to one's everyday living.
