Burditt’s debut publication titled “The Gift of Addiction” (published by Balboa Press) helps addicts and alcoholics understand the path of addiction, the purpose for it in their lives and the comfort of knowing that they possess all the necessary components to arrive at a place where they are able to create “a life beyond their wildest dreams.” These “necessary components” are clearly identified and thoroughly explains.
The book is socially relevant, as Burditt believes that society today is facing the most overwhelming explosion of addiction issues ever to hit the world. “Countless lives are being lost to substance abuse. Countless families and loved ones stand grieving while watching an adversary they cannot stop or comprehend.”
Burditt hopes that readers will gain a new understanding of the “Path of Addiction” through the transformative process offered in the book, and that when followed, will open the door for gifts and opportunities.
