Author Gregory Paul Brown shares his own dramatic account of juggling, faith, pride and conventional wisdom in his new book, "A Dancer Descended Mt. Kenya" (published by WestBow Press).

Brown takes readers along for his transformative journey, as he reflects on his misconceptions about mountain climbing and discovers answers to his spiritual questions. Showcasing moments where his walk with Christ is a constant, life-changing experience and struggle, he hopes to encourage readers when they face mountains in their own paths.

After a near-death experience on Mount Kenya, Brown found a new and authentic meaning of faith. His life was impacted by taking risks and experiencing unique and extraordinary struggles. The book offers a backstage glimpse into the true story of his life.

"The cover of "A Dancer Descended Mt. Kenya" depicts Mt. Kenya at sunrise being sized up and admired by an explorer and adventurer in the same way a person evaluates and respects the immensity of a challenge before tackling it with vigor," illustrator Andrew Nigro says.
