LEICESTER, England
To make readers laugh, to remind everyone that sometimes they need a break from the demands of life and society, and that sometimes it is good not to take life too seriously is what author Lacey Webs wants to achieve as she shares her first publication. "The Chronicles of Tania" is a realistic and humour-filled story of what most women nearing 40 go through just to find the 'one.'
Tania is currently living a life that in no way resembled the one she wistfully planned in her youth. Then there was her relentless search to find Mr. Right, only to find Mr. Right in a good light. Falling foul of her 'ousted sister-in-law' Freda, with her latest get-rich-quick scheme; and her on-going, but failing, battle of the bulge, dashing all hopes of her achieving her true calling as a sex goddess.
Finally, her yearning for a perfect, incorruptible, miserable David Grayson, her colleague and fantasy lover, is still far from being achieved. Throw in her family into this mix, who if they were described as dysfunctional, it would be viewed as an elevation in status.
These and more await readers when they delve in to see the life and adventures of Tania, a woman who just like others seek to achieve what she deems is the best for her. As she battles her way to getting what she wants, will she be able to realize that sometimes not everything one wants can truly make them happy? Realistic and inarguably entertaining, Webs' "The Chronicles of Tania" is a must read.
