It praises and glorifies God, His saving grace, His works of nature and His wonder working ways and gives comfort and hope in trials or loss of loved ones.
Lucas says, "My poetry reflects my daily walk with my Savior. It draws me nearer to God during trials and gives me hope and comfort when suffering loss of loved ones and friends. My aim is to glorify God as my Master and Redeemer through my poetry. I hope all who read my poetry will find the same hope, joy and peace as I did when writing it. It is my heartfelt prayer they will also be drawn closer to God and experience His divine love and saving grace."
